Results-oriented engineer with 3+ years’ experience in chassis and battery structural development for electrified vehicles. Skilled in 3D CAD (CATIA/NX), manufacturing validation, and cross-functional collaboration. Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions ahead of schedule while meeting stringent safety and performance standards.

Experience

Techincal Program Manager - BOF (Body on Frame) Chassis

Stellantis

Lead chassis component development for next-generation RAM and Jeep REEV (Range-Extending Electric Vehicles) models launching between 2026–2028.

Delivered the first batch of prototype vehicles one week ahead of schedule, enabling early-stage validation and performance improvements.

Manage the design and industrialization of skid plates for future RAM off-road vehicles, aligning chassis performance and durability targets.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Launch, Industrial Engineering, and Production teams to support industrialization of chassis components across two high-volume plants (combined annual capacity of 300,000 vehicles).

Improved issue identification and resolution processes by 25% through the strategic use of MS SharePoint and CoPilot AI.

January 2024 - Present

Techincal Program Manager - Battery Pack Design

Stellantis

Reported directly to the Chief Vehicle Engineer (CVE), supporting vehicle architecture efforts with a focus on structural integration of High Voltage Battery (HVB) packs across multiple EV platforms.

Led the development of structural battery case enablers to mitigate thermal runaway events, achieving a 500% improvement in heat transfer delay to occupants—from 30 seconds to 3 minutes—while meeting internal safety and compliance standards.

February 2023 - November 2023

EV Product Development Engineer

ITW Drawform

Invented and developed multiple design concepts for the patented Battery Cell Enclosure, achieving a 33% improvement in cooling efficiency through virtual thermal simulations—enhancing both performance and lifespan of EV battery systems.

Led end-to-end development of structural components for 21700 battery cells, from initial concept through soft-tool prototypes, in collaboration with leading battery manufacturers including Samsung and LG.

May 2022 - February 2023

Project Experience

Composite Simulations Engineer

WMU Formula SAE Team

Spearheaded the design and development of a monocoque carbon-fiber chassis, ensuring alignment with systems requirements and vehicle dynamics.

Played a key role in ensuring chassis design compliance with SAE standards and specifications, collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams, enhancing structural integrity and performance.

September 2021 - May 2022

Project Lead

Senior Design Project at Savitribai Phule Pune University

Led the development of an innovative mechanical system designed to extend the lifespan of brake liners by modulating the interaction between the clutch and flywheel in response to handbrake usage. This system, which disengages the clutch when the handbrake is applied and re-engages it upon release, reduces wear on the brake liners and improves vehicle safety and efficiency.

Interests

Apart from being a Program Manager, I enjoy most of my time being outdoors. In summers, I am an avid swimmer and hiker. During the winter months here in Michigan, I enjoy my time hanging out with friends and family

When forced indoors, I follow a number of sci-fi, anime and television shows. I like to cook for my loved ones and try out different recipes of my favorite cuisines, and I spend a large amount of my free time exploring the latest technology advancements in the Battery Engineering world
